I’ve wanted to write this review for a while, but never got around to it. I was reminded that I need to write it because I just saw my current (way better) dentist. I went to Arlington Cosmetic and Family dentistry in the fall before covid. It was for a cleaning, X-ray and consultation. I must admit that the cleaning was fine and the staff was very nice. The part that led me to give it such a bad review is the doctor’s attempt to convince me to get completely unnecessary, expensive surgery and fillings. After looking at my X-rays, she concluded that I had SIX cavities and needed to get my two remaining wisdom teeth surgically removed even though I’ve never had any pain or issues with them. All of this came out to about $3000 which felt totally insane. Plus, I didn’t have insurance. I’ve since been to two other dentists so I could get other opinions and potentially lower pricing. Imagine my surprise when both said that I should NOT have my wisdom teeth taken out because they fit in well and were completely healthy and clean. Additionally, they believed that I only had two cavities, not six. These dentists also gave me prices for fillings that were significantly lower. I feel that the doctors at Arlington cosmetic and family dentistry tried to take advantage of me and put me through an expensive surgery that I did not need. Obviously, I do not recommend it for anyone.

Had an amazing experience here having my wisdom teeth removed, despite being terrified. The docs are great, and not to mention Kiafa and Dania were phenomenal. Would highly recommend!

I no longer am afraid of going to the dentist thanks to Dr. Ranya. Her and the entire team are friendly, professional, and care about your experience just as much as your results. I've been here on multiple occasions now and I've always been extremely happy with their service. I've been to other dentists in Arlington, trust me, this is where you want to go.

The staff at ACFD has always been extremely nice and helpful. I've been coming here for about 3 years and have had pleasant experiences. Appointments are kept on time with minimal wait time, and cleanings normally only take between 30-45 minutes - super efficient! Even though they've gone through a change in the head dentist/owner, I still feel just as comfortable and confident with operations. My favorite part about this practice (that I mention to everyone looking for a dentist) is that they have a TV with Netflix access on the ceiling for longer/more complicated appointments like fillings so that you can watch a show of your choice and be distracted from the procedure. It is a HUGE plus for unpleasant visits.
